Before you merge donor profiles, do take note of a few things:

- A maximum number of THREE (3) profiles can be merged into one.

- Merging does not require shared details such as name or email.

*As long as you are confident that multiple donor profiles belong to the same individual, merging can be done. 

- The destination contact for the merged profiles is very important. Do ensure that you have decided this prior to the merge. (explained further down)

Steps to merge donor profiles:

1. Go to the Donor tab.

2. Click on the List View icon on the far-right. The records will now be displayed in a condensed view, much like a list.

3. Locate and select the donor profiles you wish to merge.

4. Thereafter, click on the Action widget. A dropdown will appear. From there, click on Merge.

5. The Merge wizard will launch. Use it to merge the selected profiles into one profile.

Here, you will need to select one of the profiles to be the Destination Contact through the dropdown.

The Destination Contact selected will be the main profile.

Note: Information like personal particulars from the other profiles cannot overwrite information in this profile. However, donation data from the merged profiles will be mapped over.

6. After setting your Destination Contact. click on the external link icon next to the dropdown to double-confirm that the correct profile has been selected. (recommended)

7. Once verified, click on Merge Contacts.
